You can call me a dog loving woodworker who also
does photography, or a dog loving photographer
who likes to play in my shop. Either works for me.
Especially now when so much of photography is
done on the computer, this work is more easily
done in the evening. This is also true because my
wonderful Penny thinks she should be able to park
her car in my shop at night. Crazy I know (as do so
many other woodworkers). I am proud to say I’ve
won quite a few awards last couple years – including
first places – at our OC Fair and the local city
gallery in for both my wooden dogs and my
photography.
Hope you enjoy my site

Dedication of Sergeant Baron von Willard Memorial Dog Playground.
(aka, The San Clemente Dog Park, Baron was Southern Orange County's 1st police dog)
Took us 3 years of meetings, meetings, and then more meetings! to get this done. I'm proud
that the non-profit I started raised over $20,000 for amenities and signage for the park.
I'm the good looking guy on the left, in photo on left. Next to me is Lisa Zarkadis, who was a
great help in all of it. The 2 women in red are from our historical society, the gentleman in the
patriotic tie is ex marine sniper and retired police officer, Jim Gularte, who was Baron's handler
during his service, and owner when Baron retired. Never did a man love a dog more!
